Reason for The Lady or the Tiger's Ending

I feel that she princess thinks that if she caould not have her lover with her, other people also cannot get him. But she also thinks that if her lover dies, she would be very sad forever and that her life is meaningless without her lover. And the only decision she can make is to die with her lover.(that is what I feel) So, I made this ending because of this.

The Lady or the Tiger's Ending

The people watching closed their eyes, waiting to see what wil happen in the end. The door opened slowly... A loud roar splintered the air. People gasped for air as they knew that the man was going to be eaten.

"Nooooo......" The man shouted as the tiger came out of the door, advancing towards the man. The man raced around the arena, screaming like a girl, though as brave as warrior. Eventually, he was pounced down by the tiger, and he had one, last look at the princess before closing his eyes. The tiger eventually ate himm up within seconds, leaving a pile of bones on the ground. Many people had shrieked at this, disappointed that such a good man would have died.
At this moment, the princess stood up and suddenly climbed the railing surrounding the arena and jumped down, before anyone realised what she was doing. "I have came to join you!" The princess shouted as she fell down. The tiger spotted her and ate her up, leaving the king in remorse.
